Giveaway Day

Hi there and welcome to my crafting blog!  I'm so excited to be a part of giveaway day this time around, and am looking forward to checking out all the great blogs, sites and shops out there!

Today, I'm giving away a small knitting needle/crochet hook holder!  I use the Beta version of this guy all the time for my own gear, and hope you will find it useful.  This one has 21 pockets for straight needles or hooks, and three wide pockets that can be used for circular needles or afghan hooks.  It also has a little Velcro-closure pocket that can be used for stitch markers or whatnot!

The flap folds over and it ties closed.

This baby measures in at about 10"X 15".  Folded, it's about 10" X 5.5".

I'd be happy to ship internationally.

To win this fine made-by-me prize, please comment below and let me know what's currently on your needles or hook, (or what's up next if you don't have anything going)!

I'll keep the giveaway open through Sunday, May 31st.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!  Thanks for playing.

Sadly, nothing. Maybe if I had a cute holder...

It's probably easier to say how many empty needles I have, as I have WAY too many WIP's at the moment. I'm just casting on a sweater for my oldest son (that I'm designing), but also have a fun pair of chevron socks on my new little HiyaHiya tiny circular... and many others. I'd love to win! Thanks for the chance. leafygreenes at gmail dot com

Cute needle holder! I'm not a brilliant knitter so I'm currently still struggling to finish scarves for my two little ones (they always pick the most difficult to use yarn).

I just finished a crochet flowerpot cover and I'm moving on to a bathmat! But the bathmat is very difficult because I haven't quite decided on the design and I keep making new prototypes, so it's not making much progress.. in the meantime, some dishtowels to keep my hands busy.

I've got a first pair of socks I started out of repurposed yarn from a pair of hubbies wool socks, but it isn't going so well, I think I'm doing the heel wrong...I may try using different sock wool and try another pattern. My hook currently has a hex project going...it's been sitting in a closet for 12 years maybe? I'm half done and would love to finish it.

What a great prize! I just started crocheting again.

My mom tried to teach me when I was a kid & all I ever managed was a chain stitch about 2 miles long! She started teaching me again a few months ago & I am loving it.. So I am working on some toys for my cats. They are having a blast with all of my trials & lots of errors!

Thank you for entering me in your drawing. (My crochet hooks are (I'm almost embarassed to admit) in a baggie.)

Leigh said...

Nothing on the hook yet because I don't know how! :D But my mom has promised to teach my to crochet when I visit her this summer, so this would make a great thank you gift for her!

Ooh I LOVE this prize. I have to admit that I can't answer your question since I do not crochet or knit. Some day I'd love to relearn again. My Mom taught me years ago. BUT, I have a very good friend who does both and she just finished a crocheted filet wedding sampler for a couple who are getting married and it's gorgeous. I'd love to win this prize to send to her as a gift. She would just love this.

Robyn, your needle holder looks wonderful (and it's made with floral fabric! I love, love, love floral patterns!!!)

I'm a sort of newbie crafter as I haven't done any kind of needlework for ... uh ... almost twenty years. But last weekend I rediscovered the joys of working with needle and thread, and at the moment I'm embroidering a tablecloth (and yes, there are flowers involved *g*).

Best wishes from Germany,
